John smirked as he lined up his rock for the next throw. Aaron glared at him, determined to beat John and finally win the coveted trophy. The rocks skipped across the surface of the water, each one getting closer to the other side. It was neck and neck as they both prepared their final throws. Aaron took a deep breath and let his rock fly. It sailed across the water and landed with a satisfying plop. John's eyes widened in surprise as he saw his rock fall short of the other side.
